Hello all and welcome to the reading room!
I am so excited to get the privilege of working on reading with you this year! This is my 25th year here at Lusher. I was even a student teacher here at Lusher too! It is certainly my home! The first four years, I taught fourth grade. The next ten years, I taught third grade. After that, I taught fifth grade for eight years. Now, I am in my third year as a Reading Specialist!

My family...my husband Todd, and three children, Drew, Blake, and Alaina. Drew, on the left, is a senior in college. He attends the University of Illinois and is working on a degree in Computer Science. Blake, on the right, is in the 12th grade. He wrestles all year long and loves it. Alaina is a sophomore in high school. She enjoys playing soccer year round and loves hanging out with her puppy and friends. Together, we love going camping and enjoying the outdoors.
In the spring of 2020, we adopted two puppies. Blake is holding Cali. Alaina is holding Thor. My husband Todd, is holding Lily. Lily was actually adopted by my sister-in-law. All three of these puppies are siblings, but look very different! They are Chorkies! With the addition of the puppies, that makes four dogs for us! We also have Blaze and Colt who are our big boys. We are CRAZY!!!
