Scott Borcherding / Varsity Head Coach

Coach Borcherding has coached baseball since 2006 here at Hazelwood West High School.  Prior to becoming the head coach, he has been a varsity assistant, JV head coach, freshman assistant.   He’s excited to be on staff at Hazelwood West, because of the supportive community and parents.  He also enjoys the opportunity to work such a great coaching staff, which includes two former players.  Away from the diamond, Coach Borcherding enjoys competing in triathlons and traveling with his family.  Scott and his wife Tara (who is also a teacher at Hazelwood West) have 2 daughters; Addison and Avery.
