HMS FORWARD EXAM: April 14-17: INFORMATION
AFTER SCHOOL TUTORING starting Febrary 9: Each Monday and Wednesday after school from 3:30-5PM.
8th Grade Parents: GETTING READY FOR HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION
8th Grade Parents: Upward Bound Pre-College Program applications will be available this March. Our UB representative, Sasha Weegman will be at HMS on Wednesday, March 12. Please review the g informational video , link , and a form if you have questions. Applications will also be available in the Guidance Office. Completed applicaitons may be turned into Jody Kane at the Guidance office.
Family/Parent/Teen resource: Northwest Family Connection has a number of great services to offer teens and families in our area including: Basic Needs, Employment assistance, Parent and Teen education programs, and mental health.

HMS HONOR ROLL CRITERIA
What is GPA (Grade Point Average)?:
At HMS, Grade Point Average is a point system scale. A 4.0 is the highest GPA on a report card. If your child receives a 4.0 GPA, this means your child is receiving all A's on a report card.
HMS Honor Roll Criteria: 3.2 GPA for each of the first three terms. A 3.2 GPA is a high B average on the report card.
If your child earns a 3.2 or higher GPA for each of the first thee terms, He or she will make the Honor Roll and earn a reward. Please know we do not round up. For instance, a 3.17 or 3.19 will not qualify for HMS Honor Roll.
3.2 GPA or higher for Term 1 AND
3.2 GPA or higher for Term 2 AND
3.2 GPA or higher for Term 3
All courses count toward being on the HMS Honor Roll, including Related Arts courses.
