About

Creative Makers

Haystack Mountain School of Crafts has developed a new after-school program for Blue Hill Peninsula and Deer Isle youth. The goal of this program will be to cultivate an innovative ecosystem in which local youth develop the skills and interest to create technological projects. The program will focus on developing hands-on projects within various STEM topics. Students will each focus on developing their own projects but will also get to collaborate with peers and learn in a creative environment. This program will expose students to a range of exciting areas of technology through hands-on experience with support and mentorship.
