Ways parents can help at home:
When your child is singing, ask them if they are using their "singing" voice. This is their "head voice" or their "high voice." Some kids even call it their "choir voice." This is the healthiest voice for them to sing with. It may not be what they're hearing on the radio, but it is appropriate for their age and will help them with vocal health and tuneful singing in the long run!
Ask them what they're learning in music class!
