Profesora Romanoff (Mrs. Romanoff)

¡Hola!

My name is Mollie Romanoff and this is my seventh year teaching at Middle School South. Before South, I previously taught Middle School Spanish at McHenry Middle School and Freshman & Sophomore Spanish at Crystal Lake South High School.

In 2013, I earned my Bachelor’s in the Teaching of Spanish from the University of Illinois at Chicago where I also received my Bilingual and ESL Endorsements. During my time at UIC, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Toledo, Spain during the summer of 2012. In September 2016 I also completed my Master’s Degree in Technology in Education from National Louis University.

*I hope to instill a passion for language learning in all of my students and to motivate them in continuing the study of Spanish throughout their educational career not only at MSS, but also in high school and college. Throughout the year, students will work both independently and collaboratively to improve their reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in a second language.
