Programs of Study
HAWLEY HIGH SCHOOL CTE PROGRAMS OF STUDY OFFERED
All of the Agriculture Pathways offered will provide students in a strong, real-world emphasis on science and mathematics and how they apply in agriculture. All the pathways will prepare students for a very diverse spectrum of occupations from veterinarian, farming/ranching, to working in wind-energy, solar energy, and oil and gas production.
The focus of Arts, A/V Technology, and Communications is to prepare student for a career in the use of their creative skills along with technology to explore design and creation of graphics for commercial or promotional needs, clothing/accessories design, special effects, animation, etc. for use in commericals. A strong focus on technology applications, academic skills, and a proficience in oral and written communications
Business, Marketing, & Finance Program of Study will prepare individuals to a future working in the business industry. Students will learn how to coordinate administrative services and operations, and allocate materials and human resources. Emphasis on employing mathematical models to situations, use of technology, organization, and attention to detail.
The Education and Training Program of Study prepares students for a career in education, curriculum development, collaboration with other educators, coaching groups and individuals, and learning how to meet the learning needs of varied, and unique individuals.
The focus for Health Diagnostics is to prepare students for employment in career pathways that prepare and administer medical laboratory tests for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease, as well as being on the path to work in a blood lab, as a radiological tech, or an ultrasound tech.
The focus for this Career Cluster is to prepare students for employment in career pathways that work with family counseling and mental health services, family and community services, personal care servecs, and consumer services.
