VoAg Expansion

Vocational/Agricultural Expansion (VoAg)

Courses of Study: Principles of Ag, Food, and Natural Resources, Advanced Animal Science, Floral Design, Welding, Introduction to Welding, Ag Structures Design and Fabrication, Small Animal Management, Veterinary Medical Applications, Ag Management and Marketing, Equine Science, Vet Med Applications

Current Enrollment: 281 students

Why: The VoAg building has reached capacity as enrollment has increased. Projects are limited due to space. There is a significant need to increase the workable space for projects, tools, and food processing areas for the 4G Honey. Livestock is housed under the pavilion which does not allow concurrent use for a show arena.

Show Arena at Existing Pavilion

Large multi-purpose area that is used for preparing animals to be shown in livestock shows.

Livestock Facility Addition

Additional space and animal enclosures to allow for more student participation

Metal Fabrication Workshop Addition

Metal Fabrication class utilizes metal materials, blueprints, and machinery.

Expanded Wood Working Shop

Larger space for wood working projects.

Renovation of Existing VoAg Building

Renovated restrooms, additional restrooms, and concession stand

Classroom Addition

Additional course offerings and space for increased student involvement

4G Honey Processing Kitchen

Full processing kitchen for 4G Honey Processing

Changing Rooms

Designated changing rooms for students in welding, wood design, and processing honey

VoAg cost projection is: $5,037,500.00
