Description: I started by creating a sketch than building in some of the biggest shapes/objects. My goal is to make the painting look more realistic than my usual style.

Description: I spent the week building in the rest of the foreground and middle ground. I was still having a hard time making the painting more realistic.

Description: This week, I started going in with more neutral tones to move the piece towards a more realistic style.

Description: Taking a step back from my painting I created my own canvas to start my 2nd painting. I stretched it out and applied a layer of gesso.
While I was waiting the canvas to dry I started making a charcoal drawing of a skull.

Description: With the canvas done I started my 2nd painting on a glass frog and finished up my charcoal drawing.
