Intro to Design

Introduction

I signed up for this course because I interned over the summer, and am very interesting in desigining.
I would really like to make an rc car or some vehicle with an fpv camera attatched.
To spark ideas:
1. I've been building a go kart from scrap parts
2. I took lots of classes with Mr. K
3. I really like cars and mechanical work
I am really good at designing stuff in my head and being able to make a product quickly and efficient. I am especially good with woodworking, but would like to branch out to be knowledgable.

Sketch Book

In this class, we used a journal to start sketching, taking notes, and designing.

I decided to have a drawing featuring some of my favorite car companie's logos.

We took 10 mins to take a 4"x4" square and fill it with things in the lab.

We took 10 mins to take a 4"x4" square and fill it with buildings in Hawken.

Daily Design - Cirlces

In this assignment, we learned how to ghost sketch a cirlce to help better the shape of our final circle before erasing. We also learned to take our time and thing about designs even with the same canvas for all of them.

16 Types of 1 Letter

In this assignment, we had a template to make any letter 16 times, and I chose to do the letter X. We created 16 designs all unique to try and come up with new ideas.

Initials Logo Sketching

In this class, we had some time to just sketch out your initials in unique ways and try to learn quanity over quality for this kind of brainstorming, then refine it.
