These are sketches from the first and second week of school. They are drawings of the cover of my sketchbook, a sketch of the Fab Lab, and a view from above of the Hawken Campus. The cover was my favorite because I got to use patterns and shading.

This is a sketch of circles that we drew designs in or incorporated into a design. We used things such as ghost circles to achieve a more appealing circle. We chose one circle to draw in more detail, as you can see, besides the 2-page picture

16 Types of Letters
We were assigned a challenge to make 16 different designs that incorporate a single letter from the alphabet. Then we chose a single design and drew it in more detail. This was enjoyable because I got to use my brain to envision a different design for each compartment.

We were challenged to create a logo of our initials. At first, we had to just sketch whatever came to mind. Then we narrowed it down to three designs that we liked. After that, we had to choose one design that was our favorite and draw it in a 4 x 4 square. This challenged my creative thinking. I enjoyed morphing my initials into a logo and choosing what patterns or details to add.
