Intro to Design

Introduction

I signed up for this class because I want to make stuff.
I want to learn how to use the different machines.
I enjoy making things that can make a day a little easier.
I've never done a class like this before, so i don't have a ton of skill.
I don't have a favorite designer or brand.

I didn't think it would be possible to make 17 designs of the same letter, but I did it. I am really proud of my final drawing. I wouldn't have gotten it without making a quantity of other ideas.

Making clever logo designs was difficult. My logos were either too boring, or too much. It took me a while, but I found a happy medium.

3b: Fablab Illustrator Part B

Learning how to properly use Adobe Illustrate was difficult, because I'm not used to using that kind of software. It was a little bit frustrating, but I found myself enjoying the assignment.

Laser cut name

This was my first time using the laser cutter and it was actually a lot easier than I expected. Sure I needed help, but I think after the next time I should be able to remember how to use it. Adobe illastrate was the difficult part for me. There were so many different tools and I had to find the ones I needed. It was tough, but I think I undertand where everything is now.
