The Flip Off is a solution to an issue all drivers face as a common occurrence when it comes to daily driving. The source of fruition was a need for communication regarding those pesky tailgaters and high beam users blinding you in your rear view. Without physical interaction, The Flip Off offers a means of safe message conveying when it is needed most.
Design Process
Design Process
Version 1 consisted of a Nema 17 stepper motor
Version 2 and our final version consists of a 35 kg-cm Servo motor providing effective and efficent mechanism control.
