Our efforts so far...

The huts continue to be a hive of activity at break times. With so many people in and about the huts it is important that everyone is aware of the rules. This is why the rules have been stuck in a prominent space and shared with the wider school at Monday meetings. Further work needs to be done with identifying and minimising hazards.

The huts have evolved and what has started with four huts and tunnels has now moved onto five substantial structures and a few more underway. We have now created a set of rules, identified a number of potential hazards, started to plan the layout of our huts and established what tools and materials we need to continue improving our structures.

These were our first efforts just before they got destroyed.
We were mostly using sticks and dirt as our main resources although a few huts had other bits of wood and some nails.
