UHMC’s reaccreditation process, a collaborative process with broad institutional support, has been led by key institutional leaders representing the UHMC Accreditation Steering Committee, as well as the college’s Accreditation Liaison Officer (ALO) and the Faculty Accreditation Team Coordinator (FATC). Throughout the process of developing this report, campus involvement has been achieved through campus-wide activities, frequent committee meetings, and regular dissemination of WSCUC informational updates.

Campus-wide Accreditation Activities
Campus-wide activities include a February 2010 campus retreat; WASC-themed exercises during fall 2010, spring 2011, fall 2011, spring 2012, and fall 2012 convocations; spring 2012 and fall 2012 DQP and WASC pilot campus-wide informational meetings; and fall 2012 campus-wide conversations. Ongoing campus dialogue about the WASC process has been maintained through regular updates, including: a) the Academic Senate meeting agenda, b) the Chancellor’s Executive Committee meetings, c) weekly department chairs and program coordinator meetings, and d) presentations to the Chancellor’s Advisory Council and UH BOR.
