Education and knowledge are what our nation needs. The land will not be protected,  there wil not be peace, if our people are not taught literacy and what is needed.

Our project is committed to helping those interested in becoming licensed teachers by providing free substitute certification, tuition-free coursework, academic advising, support and professional development.

Submit a quick general application to our program and meet with our coordinators Kanoe Pacheco (halipach@hawaii.edu) and Maluhia Low (mblow@hawaii.edu).

Make an appointment for a pre-screening meeting to discuss course and program options, and be connected to an acaademic advisor.

Enroll in a variety of general education, Hawaiian language, and  teacher education core courses.
