Below is a "Field To-Do List," which you can review to ensure you aren't missing anything.
Please read all emails sent by the Field Office or your Field Coordinator!
Be open to the field experience and all it offers! Field is a great time to learn about new services, gain experience with new populations, and put theory into practice! All our field sites will provide an excellent educational experience and introduction to the social work profession.

Complete Prism Profile
Complete Clinical Questionnaire in Prism
Create Wishlist in Prism
Schedule Group Chat with the Field Coordinator (see below)
After receiving the placement referral email, schedule interview with field site (see email)
Confirm Placement in Prism
Do agency on-boarding paperwork
Ensure your schedule and support system are prepared for the next 3 semesters
Schedule your first day of field work (the week of February 14th)

When you attend, be ready to discuss:
Questions you have about the field experience
Your experience and professional goals
Your areas of interest and hopes for your field experience
Make sure you've updated your profile and reviewed any Wishlist (if open).
Fill out your profile completely. Add a headshot and upload an updated resumé. Your profile will be sent to field sites when you are referred there for an interview.
The wishlist may change daily! As sites add slots, they will populate into the wishlist. Read sites carefully - it is a statewide list! Read what is available in Prism or search their website to learn more about the agency.

Start at the Dashboard
Click on Field Coursework
Click on the course name (E.G. 690 - Generalist Field Education I)
Click on the course name under Wishlists
Read the instructions & click the Start button
In the left search menu, click "all states" or "Hawai'i," then on the "Apply" button to see the list of sites.
Tip: Do not use too many search filters, as they do not always work well and may filter out potential sites.
Note: Some agencies have a presence on multiple islands/locations. Read the description carefully.
