4. Went over first four crackmes

• Wrote crackme summary

• Installed Wireshark and Android Studio

  • Watched YouTube tutorial videos

• Attempted first Codebreaker challenge

  • Got stuck and watched video

• Attempting second Codebreaker challenge

• Documented Linux installation of crackme/Ghidra

• Did task 2,3 of codebreaker

• Stuck on task 4

• Stuck on crackme03 - pretty difficult.

  • Had to go on the Noracode's tutorial website

  • Realized that I need to brush up on assembly, so going through the NSA codebreaker slides/tutorials as well

• Still stuck on crackme03 :( I need help.

  • Watched Ghidra crackme videos, but it is quite different from what my programs are.

  • Looked through Noracodes solution, but the explanation is quite advanced. It gets the solution based on assembly language

  • Tried many different data types but it just made the program more convoluted

  • I think I should continue going through the x86 assembly language tutorial

• Still attempting crackme03. I have a few questions.

• Took a look at crackme04.

• Continuing to go through NSA codebreaker resource slides

  • Unable to find out what encryption/hashing algo it is in the database.

  • Tried setting up the AArch64 ARM emulator through Qemu

  • Running into issue where it doesn't have a shared library

• Continuing to work on task 5. Got the .so file, now need to figure out how to properly link libgps.so.
