Faye earned her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2019 and her Ph.D. from Rice University in 2024, where she worked with Prof. Daniel J. Preston. After a brief postdoctoral position in the same lab, she joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa as an Assistant Professor in January 2025.
