Our team of dedicated instructional designers (IDs) is committed to supporting this journey with tools, strategies, resources, and personalized guidance.
Information Technology Services (ITS) provides a wide array of services to support the teaching, learning, public services, administration and research endeavors of the students, faculty and staff of the UH community including Lamakū.
The 13-member Lamakū Advisory Group includes unit representatives and subject matter experts guiding the Laulima to Lamakū implementation process. They facilitate a collaborative and seamless transition across the UH System.
The D2L Implementation Team consists of the LMS Implementation Team at ITS and the team at D2L, working together to configure Lamakū (powered by Brightspace) to meet the unique needs of the UH community.
As members of the UH System Instructional Designer Professional Learning Community (UH ID PLC) we will collaborate on the development and facilitation of ongoing UH System professional development (PD) (i.e. workshops, and resources).
The Discover Lamakū Website includes UH System news and information, FAQs, and resources for Lamakū relevant to all 10 campuses. You can also find the implementation timeline and how various LMS options were reviewed and evaluated.
Mission: Lamakū Transition is our EMC ID Unit hub for Leeward employees. We expect to continue this initiative until most faculty are transitioned to Lamakū in Spring 2025.
