Background Information

• Our mission is to protect, perpetuate, and enhance the cultural and natural landscape of the Kīholo Bay area through collaborative management and active community stewardship.

Project Duties

• Work in the anchialine pool – a special type of freshwater pool.

• Conduct species identification

• Remove invasive species from the pool

• Practice and refine techniques used to remove species from the pool (e.g., types of bait or traps)

• Habitat assessment (e.g. impact of removing sediment and leaving natural rock)

• Water quality sampling/testing
