Hanauma Bay
Memories of Hanauma
The ocean breeze blowing through my hair
Grainy white sand underneath my feet.
As I slowly approach the shore
I feel and see the soft waves crashing more
Submerging my head underwater
seeing a world that is like no other.
Small schools of fish swimming about
Others are lonesome
Hiding only to poke their head out
Coral from my childhood memories
Once rich teeming with life
Though life is still there
It almost seems bare
The wai from my past
How can I
make it
last?
