This precious custom lei was made by master Niʻihau shell lei maker Kele Kanahele circa late 1990s. It is a five strand, 32 inch, multicolored “pastel/light” colored lei. Each strand is a different subspecies of momi shell: Uliuli, Lenalena, ʻŌnikiniki, Keʻokeʻo and Wahaʻulaʻula.
