Background Information
Description of the research project
This project teaches people how to be cautious on their devices and the internet and how to keep your device secured against malware. This project also explores how cyberbullying can affect teens across the globe. It looks at how online harassment negatively impacts their self‑esteem, friendships, school life, and mental health.
What are the goals of the project?
Raise awareness about the emotional, mental, social, and academic effects of cyberbullying and to show why it should not be ignored. It also aims to provide helpful solutions that students, families, and schools can use to prevent and respond to cyberbullying in supportive ways.
What are the research questions?
Define threats, malware, virus, and AI and explain how AI detecting or preventing malwares benefits us?
What emotions do victims of cyberbullying commonly experience?
What are the long-term effects of cyberbullying in a person’s mental state?
In what ways does cyberbullying affect a person’s relationship with other people?
How does being cyberbullied affect students’ performance and behavior in school?
What are the hypotheses?
One hypothesis is that cyberbullying has significant negative impacts on a victim’s emotional, mental, social, and academic well-being. Another hypothesis is that strong support from families, peers, and schools can reduce these harmful effects and help victims recover more effectively.
Overall project/research methods and procedures
The overall methods and procedures of this research include gathering information through research from credible sources such as articles, studies, and surveys, organizing the findings into a research paper that explains the effects of cyberbullying and ways to prevent cyber threats, and finally creating a presentation to share the key points, solutions, and recommendations with an audience in a clear and engaging way.
STEM Careers/job that are involved in the program
The STEM careers/jobs that are involved in the program are data analyst, psychologist, IT specialist or cybersecurity expert, educator or educational researcher, sociologist, and software developer
Knowledge and skills were necessary to carry out tasks
To carry out these tasks, it was necessary to have research skills, such as finding reliable sources and analyzing information. Writing skills were also important for organizing ideas clearly in the research paper, while communication and presentation skills were needed to effectively share the findings and recommendations with others.

My contribution to this project was gathering and analyzing information about the emotional, mental, social, and academic effects of cyberbullying. I organized the research into a clear and structured paper that highlights both the problems and possible solutions. I also helped create a presentation to raise awareness and encourage others to take action against cyberbullying.
Doing this project really opened my eyes to how damaging cyberbullying can be. I used to think it was just about mean comments online, but I learned it can actually hurt someone’s confidence, mental health, friendships, and even their grades. This made me realize how important it is for everyone : students, families, and schools to work together so that the internet can be a safer and more supportive place.
I made presentations and awareness tor people to be careful of their devices and how AI is used to prevent cyber threats.
It was fun and difficult, mixed but educational. We gain a lot of knowledge about time management, planning, and how to be a responsible worker. Throughout my internship, I had severe challenges like brainstorming, but they were ultimately incredibly beneficial. All in all, the internship was a fantastic learning experience for me.
