Sophia Kihei Undergraduate Student

Sophia Kihei graduated in Spring 2026 at Kapi'olani Community College with an Associate's in Physical Sciences as an early admit high school student, and is pursuing an Associate's in Engineering. She is a mathematics major who conducted research over the years in graph theory, differential equations, and mixed methods on women and Native Hawaiians. Sophia also contributed to the establishment of an EEG Lab at her campus. In Fall 2026, she will be studying abroad in British Columbia, Canada before committing to a 4-year institution on the East Coast. She loves to dance, write, and do side quests with friends in her free time.
