Kailer Okura, MSc ME

Kailer Okura earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa in 2022. He subsequently continued his studies in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, pursuing a Master’s degree under the guidance of Dr. Joseph Brown. His thesis research focused on the modeling of piezoelectric sensors for automotive tire applications. In addition to his graduate research, Kailer contributes to efforts aimed at improving cleanroom facilities and processes at the University of Hawaiʻi to enhance performance and efficiency. Outside of academia, he enjoys surfing and hiking.
