She obtained the Ph.D. degree in the Department of Economics, University of Hawai'i at Manoa, in May 2024.
Her studies have focused on development economics, health economics, and experimental, behavioral economics. She uses field-lab experiments and quasi-experimental methods to study her research.

Binh Le received her BA in economics from Quy Nhon University and her MA in economics from Thammasat University. She was also an exchange graduate student at Kyoto University.
