All conference sessions on Feb. 17-18 will be held at Shilder College of Business, University of Hawaii-Mānoa. Shidler College is located at the corner of University Avenue and Maile Way. From Waikiki, the campus is accessible by The Bus, Uber, Lyft, and other taxi services. If you plan on driving to campus on Feb. 17-18, please contact Sumner La Croix (lacroix@hawaii.edu) for a parking pass.
The best The Bus route to UH-Mānoa campus is Route 13 which has several stops on Kuhio Ave in Waikiki. Route 13 has a stop at University Ave and Maile Way -- the site of the conference. The fare for The Bus is $3 per trip. They take coins and single dollar bills -- or you can buy an adult daily pass at all ABC stores located on seemingly every block on Kuhio Ave or Kalakaua Ave in Waikiki.
Please remember that The Bus will be operating on time schedules for Saturday (Feb. 17) and Sunday (Feb. 18).
The Saturday night reception/dinner is at the UH Presidentʻs home (College Hill) which is a 5-7 minute walk from the conference site. Directions will be provided at the conference. Transportation to the reception from the conference site is available upon request.
The February 16 opening reception will be held at Japanese Restaurant ZIGU from 5:30 - 7:30 pm. ZIGU is located at 413 Seaside Ave (ground floor) in the heart of Waikiki between Kuhio Avenue and the Ala Wai Boulevard. If you are driving, there is validated parking at the Hyatt Centric Waikiki parking garage. Its entrance is on the left-hand side of Seaside Ave (one-way heading to the mountains) between Kalakaua Ave. and Kuhio Ave.
