Welcome to Term 2 and what a crazy way to start the term, then with distance learning!
Here is what we will be focusing on in each curriculum area for the term:
Distance learning for a few weeks (hopefully we'll be back sooner rather than later!)
READING - Predicting, Making Connections, Self-monitoring,
WRITING - Narrative, Exposition, Speech writing (in preparation for Term 3)
MATHS - Measurement, Number (Subtraction & Division)
P.E - Large ball skills

On Friday we had our first practice of the whole show and saw all our hard work put together.

CROSS COUNTRY
Congratulations to each and everyone of our runners at our annual School Cross Country. You can all be proud of your amazing efforts, and the achievements of getting over the finish line.
A special mention to Harrison, Ruby and Anja who made a placing in the event - congratulations and well done!
WEEK 9
Senior Jump Jam
This week seniors have had jump jam. We've been able to watch the amazing jump jam monitors and follow their dance moves.
Well done to our Jump Jam Monitors for your enthusiasm up on stage: Charlee, Scarlett, Tara, Crista, Ruby, Sofia and Belle.
Brain Play
On Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, we were lucky enough to have Bailey and Elaine from Brain Play to come and work with us on Digital Technologies. We learnt how to do coding on: https://app.codemonkey.com/challenges/0 and https://www.codemonkey.com/hour-of-code/banana-tales/#:~:text=CodeMonkey%20is%20a%20leading%20coding,to%20learn%20coding%20at%20home.
We also learnt how to code a robot which we constructed ourselves using mBot.
