Middle school students are invited to participate in the Summer Reading Challenge by selecting at least one book that is both engaging and appropriately challenging to help prevent the “summer slide.” Students may choose a title from the list below or select a book on their own. While participation is optional, all students who complete the challenge will be invited to a special celebration during the school day in September to recognize their efforts and celebrate their commitment to reading. The celebration will include refreshments and prizes.
