Lost EVERYTHING, and i want to quit!
Using legos, stop motion,and an ipad, I created a stop motion film that didnt end up saving, because me friend has never had this class and I wanted to help him amd teach him more stuff. After teaching him he learned how to overcome challenges and do more things by himself.
I did stop motion last year and it was very challenging so I thought it would be a good idea to do it with him so I could teach him what to do for the challenging stuff. He figured out a lot and got a lot better on the computer.
During this process, I learned I should daily back up and save my video so I never lose my video. This is smart because, losing everthing I had was very disaponting. And I dont want that to happen again.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered learner because we made mistakes and we learned from them for the future. The mistakes we made were not saving our video so we ended up losing it.
A challenge I overcame on this project was keepin our Ipad steady. I was able to do it by putting our Ipad in a box full of legos and sat in on our lap so we could get the same shot every single time.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change and make it so I save the video everyday so we can keep the video and not lose it. The reason why I would change it is because we had a over 400 pictures taken and they are all gone now. And thats really annoying because we had over 5 days in this project and its all gone.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to the digital multie media CTE program at Hastings High School. Becuse we used our ipad to creaat a stop motion film.
My project connects to careers in stop motion animatior, because we both used the same skills. Like taking lots of pictures together and moving them slowly so the video looked smooth. and they also have to be patient and over come some chalenges.
