7p3 micro:bit

Using the computer, micro bit, and iPad, I created a special name tag because I want to use some of the functions.

During this process, I learned how to code on micro bit.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative Communicator,because i made a name tag.

A challenge I overcame on this project was uploading the code to the micro bit. I was able to do it by deleting some of the code.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change how i put in my original code. The reason why I would change it is because it would contradict its self in some areas other whys.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in Computer Programming because i coded a micro bit.
