Reflection

Using my computer, I pad and a bunch of robots, I created a party bomb, Dash throwing a tire, i robot writing a three letter word, and the sphero mini moving around in shapes. I also programmed a bunch of robots to race because i thought it was a unique idea that you don't see a lot.
During this process, I learned how to connect robots, program them and just how to use them.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to knowledge constructor because i started this protect knowing nothing about robots or how to code them then i looked up some codes and figured it out, and now im much better at coding when in the beginning i was really bad.
A challenge I overcame on this project was knowing how to use a robot. I was able to do it by playing around with them and seeing how they worked.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change my extra credit (racing robots) . The reason why I would change it is because i feel like i could have challenged myself more to do something harder.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in robot programming and software engineering.
