7p1-cardboard challenge

1. We didn't know what to build at first it started as a like take down the castle game the idea was that you would throw tin balls at a castle and knock over little people and that's how you win. then it went toward a helmet but I wasn't there that day so i wouldn't know what the motivation was for that. Finally we decided to do table foot ball and you shot a tin football at the end zone.

2. With table foot ball you can be less bored when your grounded or at church or if you don't have a phone or if your having a silent Sunday or at school are just a few things that you can do with the table football.

3. It has 3 legs so it wont fall over and there is a small square cut in to a peace of card board for the goal and we taped a kind of back board so the foot ball wont flyover and out of the goal box.

5. I learned it is difficult to deiced on what to make with card board because there are so many options and opinions from other team mates like one team mate wanted to do a castle and i wanted to do a house.

6. At first we weren't getting along and deciding all together on one thing but in the end it worked perfectly because we all liked the idea of table foot ball. with the table football we made like 10 footballs and a hat as a trophy

Using cardboard, I created table football because me and my team decided on it .

During this process, I learned that its hard to decide what to build with card board.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative designer because we were designing our own game out of cardboard.

A challenge I overcame on this project was agreeing with my group on what to build . I was able to do it by all of us being happy with the one project we choose .

Given a chance to do this again, I would change what we started on and not agreeing . The reason why I would change it is because we wasted a couple of days on projects that we didn't do or finish.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in construction or engineer.
