Using Micro-bits, I created a name tag and a interactive device because it was fun and easy. During this process, I learned how to code Micro-bits. This learning was important because I might need to code later in life. The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, and Knowledge Constructor, because I used technology to achieve my goals of doing this project, I recognize my rights with the Micro-bits, and I used multiple tools to create my code. A challenge I overcame on this project was learning how to code Micro-bits. I was able to do it by trying different things.Given a chance to do this again, I would change the interactive project. The reason why I would change it is because it was kinda boring. I would change it by doing a game of rock paper scissor because its fun. This project connect to careers in keyboard designer, keyboard maker, keyboard fixer, and keyboard coder. This is important because technology is growing and people might need their keyboards fixed or a new one made.
This is a video of my Micro-bit in action. It uses buttons to activate.
This is another video of my Micro-bit in action. It uses motion to activate along with buttons.
