Planning Questions

Are you working by yourself or in a team?

I'm working by myself.

What materials will you need for your project?

I will need a Micro Bit, an a iPad.

What is your plan to create in this project?

my plan is to stay focused and make the Micro Bit be a magic 8 ball.

What unique qualities will your project have?

My project will have my own coding skills.

Using a iPad and a micro bit, I created a ghost saying Hi because I thought making one of my own would be fun

During this process, I learned how to code a micro bit.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because I solved my problems when I got stuck.

A challenge I overcame on this project was when my project wouldn't link to my micro bit. I was able to do it by unplugging the micro bit and reconnected the micro bit.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change some of  the coding to the ghost because I feel he could have more coding to him. The reason why I would change it is because he is kind of boring .

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Computer Programing CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in Computer Programing because we coded on the computer to make the micro bit to do what we wanted it to do.
