I worked on my planning questions and 10 good ideas.

I added some code to the micro bit but I could not get it to connect to the computer so i just did some stuff on my computer.

I was able to put my name on the micro bit this day.

I worked on computer and coded a love meter then I put the love meter in the micro bit.

I coded a step counter and put it on to my micro bit, then i added sound to the love meter and a heart icon.

I added the micro chat code to the microbit and was able to send mesages to my freind.

Sentence Starters

Using micro bit, a speaker, and a computer , I created a step counter to count the number of steps you take in a day, A love meter "to see if your special someone still loves you" -Mr. Renner , and micro chat because i thought it would be fun to code and test the limits on how far it reaches.
During this process, I learned how to connect a micro bit to a computer.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to an Innovative designer because i had to fix a problem with the micro bit connecting to the computer.
A challenge I overcame on this project was connecting my micro bit to my computer . I was able to do it by unplugging the cord to the keyboard and plugin the micro bit in the USB port .
Given a chance to do this again, I would change. the micro chat to have the text move a little bit faster The reason why I would change it is because you could read the messages with out waiting so long.

My project connects to the computer programing CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in coding and software development.
