7P1- video project

Using iPad, iMovie, Creative Commons Images, and my PC, I created a movie about places I like to be and sports and animals I like because sports are good for you, going to new places is  refreshing, and animals are great. .

During this process, I learned how to find Creative Commons images how to use iMovie to edit, how to put a backround sound and music in a video, how to add titles to a video, how to make a voiceover, and learn how to edit in general.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital Citizen because, I used creative commons images and because I used safe audios for my video.

A challenge I overcame on this project was learning how to edit videos on iMovie . I was able to do it by listening to directions carefully.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change my voiceover. The reason why I would change it is because for the first time I sounded shy and quiet. I would also change the pictures I had because they all together looked really mixed up.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multi Media CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in editing because I learned how to edit in class and it could help for the future if that is something I want to do.
