Daily Log
Day 1 - I was looking for things I should code.
Day 2 - I started making my name ( and accidentally deleted it)
Day 3 - I re-did my name
Day 4 - I started doing a number generator
Day 5 - I did my video of my name
Day 6 - I worked on my video for my number generator
Day 7 - I made teleporting text with my friend(I give her all of the credited)
Day 8 - I worked on my sentence starters
Using a micro-bit and coding, I created my name, a number generator, a teleporting duck, and teleporting text. because I wanted to do something cool and the teleporting text was difficult but at the end it was cool.
During this process, I learned coding is difficult but also easy at the same time and the thing that made it hard was the teleporting text and the teleporting duck and the micro-bits some of them didn't work and some did but it was difficult to find the ones that worked, and the thing that was easy was doing my name and the number generator.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because to work with micro-bits and coding it takes knowledge and hard work to put a code inside of a micro-bit.
A challenge I overcame on this project was doing the teleporting text cause me and my partner we were gonna give up but we decided to try doing it and we were able to get it accomplished. I was able to do it by not giving up and trying.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change i would probably make more codes and do more teleporting things. The reason why I would change it is because I only did 4 projects (I didn't get the video for my duck code cause we forgot to take a video) and i would make more projects.
