7P3 - Design Challenge

Using cardboard, I created an airplane that has celebrities sky diving out of it.

During this process, I learned how to make the right shapes needed.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I was able to design something that was different.

A challenge I overcame on this project was how to make the strings have the same length. I was able to do it by trying to even out all of the strings.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the plane. The reason why I would change it is because I would like to make it more realistic.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Engineering.
