I was working in a team.

What materials will you need for your project?

hot glue, cardboard, scissors, hot glue guns, pencils

What is your plan to create in this project?

our plan was to create a train 

What unique qualities will your project have?

Its the hastings fright train.

• Using cardboard, hot glue, hot glue gun, we created a cardboard train because we were thinking of what to make and thought of this to make.

• During this process, I learned that cardboard is very easy to make stuff out of.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. Our project ties to Innovative Designer because we created this design not somebody else, and we said where all of the widows where going to go.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to get the chain links to work and stay together. I was able to do it by adding a little more hot glue and holding it together longer.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the design of it and make it into a longer train and add color. The reason why I would change it is because it has no color and i want to make it look cooler.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects Construction Trades to careers in because I actually built it.
