Planning questions:

Are you working by yourself or in a team?

I'm working by myself.

What materials will you need for your project?

My ipad, and possibly my computer.

What is your plan to create in this project?

I'm gonna create a video about myself, things I enjoy, and other things relating to me.

What unique qualities will your project have to separate it from other peoples’ projects?

The unique qualities my project has is that mine is about MY favorite artists, MY favorite books, and MY pets.

Day 1

Day 1 we logged into our Ipads in the sixth grade science lab. I didn't have much time to do anything else becuase of the internet.

Day 2

Day two I first chose pictures to use for my video project and started using the iPad app: imovie.

Day 3

Day 3 I continued working on adding and rearranging my imovie pictures. Then added music, plus additional features.

Day 4

I finished adding the rest of my photos, and edited my music.

Day 5

Day 5 I do my voice over the music. Then add some finishing touches to finalize my movie. Lastly i Export the project and add to my website.

Using the app imovie on my ipad, I created an about me video featuring my favorite artists and my cat because those are the two most important things in my life and about me.
During this process, I learned how to use the app Imovie, and how to download pictures from google using the creative commons license.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to digital citizen because I used my time during the project on the internet to act responsibly and safely, and didn't stray from the websites i was allowed.
A challenge I overcame on this project was adding music to the imovie. I was able to do it by finding the button next to the photo option and clicking audio.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the tpic of the imovie. The reason why I would change it is because I had trouble finding things about myself to add.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to the marketing CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in marketing because in marketing you need to be able to advertise the products you sell.
