Using robots, I finished all the challenges .I coded sphero minis to move in shapes, made a iRobot spell bOb, made a super cool party bomb, and made a dash slingshot a tire. I did this cause it was fun and was what we were support to do.
During this process, I learned how to code. More specificity robots to do certain tasks. I learned this through trying it.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital Citizen. It ties to this because it is all on a public sit and it doesn't violate any copyright laws..
A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the tire to go in the right direction. I was able to do it by fixing the way the robot turns its head. I figured out what direction the dash should turn its head by doing trial and error.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the amount of shapes the sphero mini traced. A reason why I would change it is because I feel like I didn't do enough. I think it would have been better to do more shapes.
