I am working with a partner for this project.
I will need a robot, a ipad for this project to be succsessful for this project.
My plan to create in this project is to keep trying my best and to succsessfully move the robots and create the videos.
My project will be unique because my robot videos will be detailed and be the best qaulity they can be.
Day 1. We started coding dash and putting the Legos so we could record our video.
Day 2. We started doing the sphero mini and coding that.
Day 3. We started doing our video's and uploaded it to drive and put it on our website.
Day 4. We started the bolt robot and started trying to code it but we didn't get to coding that day.
Day 5. Then today we started trying to code bolt and we got to the code and got to coding.
Day 6. Today we finished our bolt videos and we are adding them to our website and doing the 10 good ideas list and planning questions and then done.
Using my iPad dash and the sphero mini and I robot apps and the robots themselves. I created coding and making the robots move and work because we made 3 robots work and completed the tasks that we needed to finish.
During this process, I learned how to control the robots and and code them and I also learned that each of the robots has there own sites so you can code them and make them do what you need to make.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to an empowered learner because I can set my own goals and I can collaborate online to learn new things. My project also ties to an innovative designer because I can stay with a task until it is completed and I can find solutions to my problems with the project I have.
A challenge I overcame on this project was learning how to make things work and how to control the robots. I was able to do it by challenging myself and trying my best and asking for help to know how they work.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the choice of the robots we did because I think some of the robots were easier than others. The reason why I would change it is because i think we could have done a different robot because some of the others are challenging and are more detailed witch might get you a better grade.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the computer programming in the CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in _being a robotic engineer, an mechanical engineer and a software engineer.
