Using micro bit code, I created my name because that was what i wanted to do and it makes a cool design across the micro bit.During this process, I learned how to make letters by drawing on the boxes . The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties Innovative Designer to because u make a design on the boxes and draw letters. A challenge I overcame on this project was getting my design to download on my micro bit. I was able to do it by plugging in the usb cord the computer and the micro bit and downloading it .Given a chance to do this again, I would change my design . The reason why I would change it is because its not that cool . Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in game design and designing games .
