• Using cardboard,hot glue,tape,cardboard scissors,normal scissors,and my computer I created cardboard shoes and shoe box because me and my friend can use them.

• During this process, I learned that measurements are extremely important.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to empowered learner because i made the choices on  what i  do to the project.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was sizes and measurements. I was able to do it by using other objects to get a relative size.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the tape amount. The reason why I would change it is because it makes it look poorly engineered and tacky.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the contrustion traits CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in engineering because i made shoes and a shoe box.
