• Using cardboard, tinfoil, tape and washers, I created a tin foil fast pitch game.The game was mad with tin balls and and cardboard mainly the objective is to get the tin ball in the hole.I created this game because it is always fun to throw a ball so why not try to do it fast and in a target.
• During this process, I learned that to make things work you have to do things differently then doing them the way you think it should be done.I also learned that things don't always go as planed.The final thing i learned was that you might need to restart a couple times for it to actually work.
• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovate designer this is because we had to innovate and design this project.
• A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to do it in away to make it harder so it look cooler or works cooler. I was able to do it by make it a simpler way so it was not as hard.it was easy to overcome since there are many ways to do it.
• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the looks of it. The reason why I would change it is because it looks really bad. It needs to have more stuff added to look more official.
• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the engineering and design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in designing toys and games.
