Using _the xcarve and my wood_, I created a deer_ because I wanted to make one to put up for decoration_.
During this process, I learned it is hard for the xcarve to cut through the nots in the wood and it takes a long time to carve a little bit.

A challenge I overcame on this project was getting it all set up to start carving. I was able to do it by help from Mr. Renner and watching videos.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how I carved it. The reason why I would change it is because It didn't turn out the I really wanted it to.
