What materials will you need for your project? Micro Bit, Computer, Ipad.

What is your plan to create in this project? To make code on my MicroBit.

What unique qualities will your project have? The use of a Micro Bit.

Reflection:

Using a Micro Bit, iPad, and a speaker, I created a name tag on my Micro Bit because I wanted to see my name on a Micro Bit.

• During this process, I learned how to use a Micro Bit.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because A knowledge constructor can use browsing history and a digital footprint to continue where they left off or where they last were. A knowledge constructor is someone who can use all or most of their tools and sources when it comes to researching, sourcings, or citing. A knowledge constructor can use multiple sources, references, citations, documents, bibliographies to find information.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to make music on my Micro Bit. I was able to do it by asking Teyo.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the music. The reason why I would change it is because I didn't like the music that much.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects Computer Programming to the CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in dedicated software creation to data analysis and system automation because my project is shared with the world.
