Makey Makey

Using makey makey, I created a drum set with 2 cymbols, 2 base drums and 2 snare drums because I'm a percussionist and I like playing the drums.

During this process, I learned how to match cords to the keys, what a makey makey was and how to make it so it makes sounds. This learning was important because if I didn't know how to make sound than my project would suck.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to being an Innovative Designer because I designed a drum set using makey makey.

A challenge I overcame on this project was at first the keys played the wrong instruments. I was able fix it by changing which key goes to which instrument.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the amount of instruments I used. The reason why I would change it is because we only used 3 different instruments. I would change it by adding more instruments because we should add more instruments.

This project connects to carriers in construction. This is important because I can get money.
